The Polaris-Smart fiber optic sensor is a complete sensing solution that starts at the measuring point and finishes by delivering digital data and alerts. Our fiber optic sensors are used for vibrations, accelerations, pressure and temperature sensing. As all our products, it uses photons (i.e. light), which makes it intrinsically safe and operational in many harsh environments.
Pure photonics, Intrinsically safe for many harsh environments
Embedded analytics & predictive maintenance features
Monitor your assets at their core
Configurable digital output
Fiber optic cable: non-conductive, low loss, no repeater needed
Large acceleration and frequency ranges
The Polaris-Smart fiber optic sensor starts at the measuring point and finishes by delivering digital data and alerts. The Polaris-Smart sensor is composed of:
It includes a connectivity API to link to your acquisition system or data platform.
We provide an optional cloud interface for dashboarding and alerts.
Using photons (i.e. light) instead of electrons, photonic sensors are intrinsically safe and operational in harsh environments.
Very small and light, the sensor head of the Polaris-Smart fiber optic sensor is the best fit for in situ monitoring of assets and processes.
The optical link between the edge computer and the sensor itself is made of conventional optical cable what offers:
Our sensing solutions goes beyond capturing data and offers top notch embedded predictive maintenance features.
Thanks to our unique combo of hardware and software, the Polaris-Smart fiber optic sensor makes live detection of abnormal behavior possible for applications that had no solution so far.
We compute in live “on the edge” 64000 points recorded/sec, providing features such as:
Miraex Edge Controller comes with a web browser based user interface. It allows you to configure the Edge Controller connectivity but also gives you access to a simple visualization of the measured data as well as their recording. It’s also possible to connect our edge to our cloud Miraex cloud making the Polaris Smart sensor a standalone remote monitoring solution.
